A key example of Territorial style architecture, the Magoffin Home was built in 1875, and includes many pieces of original furniture and decoration. The home is located on a 1.5 acre park 2 miles southeast of the University of Texas - El Paso. Guided tours around the home are led by docents who provide details on the history of the family that lived there, including four-time mayor and builder Joseph Magoffin and Brigadier General William Jefferson Glasgow.
