Description:

One of the most stylistically beautiful theaters in the region the Plaza Theatre opened in 1930 as a live theater and cinema. Seating 2,039 in its restored auditorium, the Spanish Colonial-designed theater makes use of its authentic Mighty Wurlitzer Pipe Organ during its varied local and nationally touring events, including groups such as the El Paso Opera and the Moscow Ballet. The theater is in the old downtown area of El Paso, close to the El Paso Museum of Art and the El Paso Museum of History.
