Dr. Shoemann treated my pets for 11 years, until I moved out of the state. I have large dogs that she treated from puppy hood into their senior years. They have been in for everything from boarding and general health checks to ingestion of toxic plants and emergency surgery/procedurs when my lab took up sock eating. When I first arrived in town and took Gunny in, he was scared and shaking like a lief. Dr. Shoemann sat with him on the floor petting him and scratching his ears until he stopped shaking. When my cat Simba became ill, he required hospitallization, he received 24 hour care from Dr. Shoemann and her staff. I was well informed about his condition and the treatment he required, they were very honest and supportive, especially during his crital care. When he was stable enough to return home I received detailed instructions and information to continue his care on my own. Thanks to the excellent care from Dr. Shoemann and her staff all of my pets were able to make the 1,800 mile journey to our new home. They are wonderful people and compassionate about the health and wellbeing of their patients.

This doctor insists on giving my dogs extensive hemoglobin tests annually, even though they have been under her care for years and she knows exactly what medications they are on. It is high pressured salesmanship you get at this clinic, not folks who care for animals, I'm afraid. You can't walk out of that place without feeling taken. We've been going to this clinic for years now because it's conveniently located, but we've had enough of this vet and will not be going back.
